This disturbance is forecasted to bring "light precipitation to interior Northern California late Sunday into Monday, mainly over the foothills and mountains north of I-80," the National Weather Service advises. Those planning to venture into higher elevations should be prepared for these mild interruptions. Additionally, there's a slight chance of thunderstorms in the northern Sacramento Valley and nearby foothills on Monday afternoon and evening, though the odds are low, at 10-15%.
Once this brief bout of weather passes, Sacramento residents can look forward to "Mild and dry conditions Tuesday into late next week," according to forecasters.
