Event organizers recommend that anyone aiming to partake in the festivities should plot their strategy in advance. They suggest using public transport, rideshare services, or biking options to dodge the inevitable parking pandemonium. For those willing to brave the roads, the City of San Antonio has created something of a parking lifeline with VIA Metropolitan Transit's Link ride-sharing at a wallet-friendly $1.30 a ride in the downtown zone and Park & Ride specifically set up for these events.
City of San Antonio is pulling out all stops to prevent parking from becoming a grind with the SAPark website serving as a go-to for finding that elusive spot. Yet, it's worth noting that, the City's regular deals like Downtown Tuesday with its free parking will take the backseat for Fiesta on Tuesday, April 29.
