
A months-long spree of auto burglaries in Milpitas has come to a close with the apprehension of a 29-year-old San Jose man, succumbed to a multi-agency dragnet. An update shared by the Milpitas Police Department detailed the investigations from February through April, linking a chain of car break-ins to the suspect.
Detectives followed threads of evidence, including testimony from officers and witnesses, to identify the culprit. Last Thursday, their persistent efforts bore fruit. In coordination with the San Jose Police Department, a search warrant was executed in San Jose, resulting in the arrest. According to the social media post from Milpitas Police, they found "stolen property and burglary tools" in the suspect's possession.

The suspect's streak of unlawful endeavors has landed him with a $200,000 Ramey warrant for his arrest. Moreover, another warrant from a neighboring agency was on their books for auto burglary.
