
A man was fatally shot early morning yesterday in First Hill, prompting a police investigation. According to the Seattle Police Department Blotter, officers responded to the 1200 block of Seneca Street just before 2:00 a.m. and found a 40-year-old man with gunshot wounds. Despite attempts by officers to save him, the Seattle Fire Department declared him dead at the scene.
Homicide detectives are now investigating the incident. The suspect fled the scene and remains at large. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the Violent Crimes Tip Line at (206) 233-5000.
