
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) has reported the arrest of a second suspect connected to a fatal shooting that occurred last Sunday. The suspect, identified as 26-year-old Henry Ramirez, was apprehended last Wednesday, April 16, and has been charged with two counts of open murder with a deadly weapon, according to a press release by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
The initial call about the shooting was received by LVMPD Communications last Sunday morning, where officers discovered two males with gunshot wounds in the parking lot of a business on East Owens Avenue. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, both men were pronounced dead at the scene. The first suspect, Julio Bautista-Martinez, 24, was apprehended shortly after fleeing the site of the incident. He is currently being held at the Clark County Detention Center for the same charges as Ramirez.
Investigators learned that the victims had been leaving a party held at a nearby banquet hall when a verbal altercation escalated into the tragic shooting. LVMPD's Homicide Section spearheaded the investigation, leading to the swift identification and arrest of both suspects involved in this case.
