After months of searching and considerable public concern, Gary Day, the 40-year-old man connected with the disappearance of a pregnant teenager from Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, is now in custody. According to WISN, Day was extradited to Wisconsin yesterday to face allegations of child abduction and child enticement.
On April 2, a truck driver's keen observation at Love's Truck Stop in Sarpy County, Nebraska, led to Day's apprehension. The truck driver contacted 911 upon seeing Day with 17-year-old Sophia Franklin, and Deputies swiftly arrested him. Day faces additional warrants from Wisconsin and Arkansas and local charges, contributing to a minor's delinquency and false reporting, as noted by WISN.
