Tampa is reeling from a violent dispute that turned deadly on N. Nebraska Avenue. Tampa Police Department reported that officers were called to the scene at approximately 6:14 pm to a reported disturbance. On arrival, they discovered an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound.
The incident, which occurred in the 10-thousand block of N. Nebraska Avenue, quickly escalated to a homicide case after the injured man was rushed to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. In the initial stages of the investigation, it has been indicated by the Tampa Police that the gunfire stemmed from an altercation between an employee and a customer. Witnesses found at the scene, the shooter, a worker at an unidentified business, is said to be cooperating with the police.
There haven't been any arrests as of yet, and the police have shared that there appears to be no immediate threat to the public. The identity of the victim, as well as that of the shooter, have not been released, as the investigation is ongoing.
