Concern spread through the New Port Richey community as the Pasco Sheriff's Office launched a search for 17-year-old Geneva Whiting, who was reported missing and endangered.
According to the Pasco Sheriff's Office's Facebook post, Whiting, who is 5'8" and weighs around 200 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes, was last seen on Friday morning near Avana Wy. She was wearing a light-colored shirt and leggings. Authorities urged anyone with information to contact their Non-Emergency Line.
An update was later shared confirming that Whiting had been found safe. The Pasco Sheriff's Office did not provide specific details on how or where she was located.
