Tragedy struck Chicago's Avalon Park neighborhood Thursday evening when a collision between an SUV and a sedan left three people injured, two of them critically. A 62-year-old man operating the SUV collided with a sedan driven by an 18-year-old man.
The intensity of the impact critically injured both the elderly man and his passenger, a 63-year-old woman. they were both rushed to the University of Chicago Medical Center for urgent medical care. The driver of the sedan suffered minor injuries and was described as being in good condition at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, as detailed by the Chicago Sun-Times.
