Two men were hospitalized after a violent argument on Tuesday night in west Houston. The fight, which involved a firearm, a baseball bat, and even a bow and arrow, took place around 8:20 p.m. on Westview Drive near Gessner Road, according to Click2Houston.
The conflict, involving larger groups, led to two men being shot during a confrontation that didn't involve any arrow injuries. CW39 confirms both men are now in stable condition. Authorities arrived around 9 p.m. to find the situation had turned deadly when one man pulled a gun and the other responded with a bow and arrow. However, the Houston Police Department has not revealed more details about the victims, including who had the bow.
While the reasons behind the disagreement remain as murky as the Houston bayou at midnight, and neither of the injured men seemed to have been pierced by the arrows, the man who brandished the bow and arrow appears to be one of those two shot, according to statements by Houston Police Department reported by Click2Houston; as for the present, the conditions of both men, outside of their state of stability, have not been released to the public sphere.
