A suspect has been arrested in connection with a homicide that occurred last Wednesday on the 3500 block of North Sutter Street in Stockton. According to the Stockton Police Department, officers responded to a shooting report around 1 p.m. and found a 20-year-old man with a gunshot wound. He later died at a hospital. Homicide detectives began investigating the case shortly after the incident, as reported by the Stockton Police Department.
On Tuesday, the U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested 18-year-old Kamarion Smith in Stockton. He was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail on homicide charges. Detectives are still following leads and searching for a second suspect, as stated by the Stockton Police Department.
