
Two women were injured in a shooting incident in Pittsburgh's Homewood North neighborhood, according to police reports. The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon, and officers responded around 5:30 p.m. to the 1200 block of Mohler Street following multiple alerts of gunfire registered by the ShotSpotter system, which detected a total of 10 rounds, as TribLIVE reported.
Pittsburgh Police stated one woman sustained a graze wound to her shoulder, and while transported to the hospital, she was soon released after treatment. In stable condition, the second woman was found to have sustained a gunshot wound to her foot and was taken to a hospital. WPXI conveyed these details of the event.
Shell casings were recovered from the scene, implying tangible evidence of the gunfire. Witnesses reported that a dispute had occurred before the shots broke the Sunday calm. Yet, as of the last reports, police have not identified or apprehended any suspects related to the shooting.
