
Last week, the Union County Sheriff's Office had a reason to celebrate as three of its seasoned lieutenants completed a rigorous academic endeavor. Lieutenants Weatherman, Black, and Rumley, as reported by the Union County Sheriff's Office, graduated from N.C. State University’s Administrative Officer Management Program (AOMP), demonstrating their commitment to professional development and law enforcement excellence.
Joining the ranks of the 101st session of the AOMP, the intense 12-week-long program ushered these officers through five academic courses, totaling fifteen credit hours. Residing in Raleigh, NC throughout the work week, they mastered knowledge and strategies pivotal to public safety. Sheriff Eddie Cathey, expressing his pride, stated, "Sheriff Eddie Cathey is extremely proud of each of these men," highlighting their major career accomplishments.
Lieutenants Weatherman, Black, and Rumley of the UCSO have completed the rigorous Administrative Officer Management Program. The department announced their graduation last week, noting that their achievement supports continued growth and professional development within the agency.
