The incident occurred on 4th Street near Graham Street yesterday, just before the 10 p.m. hour, as reported by WBTV. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police responded promptly to the scene, consequently shutting down 4th Street between Graham and Cedar Streets. WBTV noted that the condition of the pedestrian was initially unreported.
Further details emerged when Charlotte-Mecklenburg police informed QC News that one person was transported from the scene with life-threatening injuries. The collision led to a stretch of road being cordoned off, and, officials advised motorists to avoid the area around the intersection on 4th Street shortly before 10 p.m. Queries about potential charges arising from the incident remain unanswered as of now.
Adding to the narrative, Medic confirmed to WCNC that the pedestrian was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries following the accident near 705 W 4th Street.
