The search is intensifying for an 81-year-old Aliquippa man, Robert Love, who has been missing since early this week. The Aliquippa Police Department is leading efforts and calling upon the community for assistance in locating Love, who is grappling with early-onset dementia and diabetes, according to WPXI.
Authorities reported that Love departed from his home on Sheffield Avenue on Tuesday around 2:45 p.m. He was seen driving his 2016 gold Chevrolet Impala, which bears PA license plate MM00218, and has not been heard from since. Described as a 6 feet tall, 190 pounds, bald black male with brown eyes, he was last wearing a lime green shirt with black sweatpants, and may be wearing a hat, per WTAE's report.
In their public appeal, police stress the urgency of the situation given Love's medical condition, noting that he may either have or be wearing a medical alert necklace—a crucial detail for anyone who may come across him. The public in Beaver County and surrounding areas are specifically asked to keep an eye out for the missing octogenarian, according to Audacy.
Those with information on Robert Love’s whereabouts are encouraged to contact the Aliquippa Police Department at 724-378-8000 or to call 911 immediately.
