The Solano County Sheriff's Office has made two arrests in connection with a grisly homicide discovered on Cherry Glen Road in Vacaville. According to a social media post from the Solano County Sheriff's Office, the body of Adam Muela of Bay Point was found in the early hours of April 13. He had been shot and his body burned.
Responding deputies confirmed the death as a homicide, initiating an investigation that saw detectives quickly gather evidence, conduct interviews, and analyze forensic data. These efforts led to the identification and subsequent arrests of Clifton Summerise, 52, and Maria DeLeon, 42, both of Vallejo. "Our team worked tirelessly to bring those responsible to justice," Sheriff Thomas Ferrara said, per the Solano County Sheriff's Office. The suspects were arrested on April 22 and face charges including murder and robbery.
