Vallejo police officers, operating within their routine patrol route on Harbor Way and Mare Island Way, encountered a white 2004 GMC Envoy that matched a Be On the Lookout (BOLO) alert issued for a male suspect connected to domestic violence, criminal threats, and a no-bail parole warrant for robbery. An additional concern was the suspect reportedly being armed. According to a statement by the Vallejo Police Department, when the officers came upon the suspected vehicle last Saturday, they proceeded to detain the individual after a high-risk felony stop safely.
Upon verification through a records check, it was confirmed that the detained man was indeed the subject of the alert. A subsequent parole search of his vehicle led to the discovery of a loaded firearm with no serial number and equipped with an extended magazine. The Vallejo Police Department emphasized the danger posed by the suspect, who, being a felon, was not legally permitted to possess any firearm. In an official social media post, the Vallejo Police Department stated, "This arrest reflects our continued commitment to locating and arresting individuals who threaten public safety and disrupt peace in our community."
The man was taken to the Solano County Jail to await the next steps in the legal process.
