Residents of Washington County now have an opportunity to offer their insights and feedback on the proposed installation of a new traffic signal at the intersection of Bonita Road and Sequoia Parkway. The county has launched an online open house, open for comments until April 27, as reported by the Washington County.
According to the Washington County's announcement, the project aims not just to add a traffic signal, but to enhance overall safety and accessibility with improved street lighting and ADA-compliant crosswalks. These changes are proposed to be funded through the Major Streets Transportation Improvement Program (MSTIP 3e), a detail that underscores the ongoing commitment to upgrading infrastructure in the area.
The online open house is a way for people to learn about the project and share their opinions, which could help shape how it turns out. If someone can’t give feedback online, they can also contact the county by email or call 503-846-7800 to get information or share their thoughts, as per the Washington County.
