Drivers will also need to altogether avoid parking on 19th Street from Pennsylvania Avenue to G Street, NW, as well as on select parts of Pennsylvania Avenue and G Street. For those planning to navigate these routes, it's highly advised to find alternate paths and to quickly adapt to these temporary yet significant changes.
As reported by MPDC's official communication, road closures will specifically affect H Street from 19th Street to 20th Street, NW, with this segment being closed to vehicle traffic from 5:00 p.m. on April 20 until 5:00 p.m. on April 26. The additional closures will encompass several streets in the proximity of the IMF/World Bank event, particularly impacting H Street from Pennsylvania Avenue to 20th Street, NW, and 19th Street from Pennsylvania Avenue to G Street, NW, from Wednesday, April 23, at 7:00 p.m. until Friday, April 25, at 6:00 p.m.
