The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Aviation Division has opened applications for its 2025–2027 Airport Aid Grant Program, offering approximately $1.4 million in funding. These grants are available for airport improvement projects listed in the Statewide Capital Improvement Program (SCIP), according to a release from Washington State Department of Transportation.
To qualify, projects must already be included in the SCIP, which outlines the needs of Washington's 134 public-use airports. Applicants must submit an online application, checklist, and required grant assurances. Washington State Department of Transportation recommends using Microsoft Edge to complete the digital forms.
Applications are due by the end of the business day on May 30, and selected projects must be scheduled to begin after the first half of the fiscal year, with completion expected by summer 2026. Details about project eligibility and priorities are available in WSDOT’s grant manual.
