According to WISN, an official at the Milwaukee Jewish Community Center disclosed that the aide was taken into custody by police. The CEO of the Jewish Community Center, Mark Shapiro, expressed in an interview and in a written letter to families, "This is an extremely disturbing and serious issue that we take very seriously."
The details are sparse, but what’s known is that the teacher's aide was involved in the day-care operations at the center and is currently suspended without pay. As conveyed by Shapiro, "It's been a rough day," underscoring the gravity of events.
