A tragic event unfolded in DeLeon Springs this Monday evening, resulting in the death of a 52-year-old man during what the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office has described as a series of physical altercations stemming from a domestic dispute.
According to reports by WFTV, the incident, which took place around 9:15 p.m. on Tomoka Woods Parkway, has sparked an ongoing investigation by local authorities.
Upon their arrival at the scene, first responders discovered the victim, whose identity has not been publicly released, with fatal gunshot wounds. As reported by ClickOrlando, the man was pronounced dead at the location. Yet, as of now, no charges have been filed during this active investigation that poses more questions than answers at the current time.
