The officers identified a trail of blood from where Tucker collapsed to Carroll's apartment, which was integral in piecing together the occurrence of the crime.

In a statement provided by the Sheriff's Office, "After speaking with Carroll and reviewing the evidence at the scene, our Homicide detectives arrested her for Tucker’s murder," a narrative reported by News4Jax.
