
Akron law enforcement is actively seeking 56-year-old Rosue Pierce, identified as the prime suspect in the stabbing death of Narlon Portis, age 52, FOX8 News reported.
The tragic incident transpired on the evening of last Saturday, around 8 p.m., at a residential location on Cromwell Drive; officers who reached the scene encountered Portis with critical stab wound injuries to his torso and despite quick transport to a local hospital, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival, as detailed in a Cleveland19 article and, the suspect, Pierce, is currently facing charges for murder and felonious assault although his whereabouts remain unknown, and the police have not yet determined a motive connecting the two men.
Described as being 5'11" tall and approximately 200 pounds, the suspect is bald with brown eyes and grey facial hair. The Akron Beacon Journal reports that citizens should be vigilant and report any information that may assist in apprehending Pierce.
