Authorities have issued an Amber Alert for 15-year-old Sharolen Roque, who was last seen Tuesday in north Harris County. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office reported that Roque was in the 2300 Hopper Road area around 1 a.m. on that day. The alert, as stated on Click2Houston, noted that it was unclear what she was wearing at the time of her disappearance.
In a concerning development, Sharolen is believed to have left her home with Mauricio Aaron Ramos, a 20-year-old man. Originally seen in Harris County, the pair was later spotted around 11 a.m. Tuesday in Dallas, as per officials' updates. The information about their Dallas sighting was released by KHOU, which indicated that Ramos is now considered a suspect in the case. They are thought to be traveling in a black Mazda of unknown model and year.
Sharolen has black hair, brown eyes, stands at 4 feet, 9 inches tall, and weighs approximately 110 pounds. Meanwhile, authorities have only provided a brief description of Ramos, noting that he has black hair.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is treating Sharolen as a runaway, while they have simultaneously elevated the urgency of the situation with an AMBER Alert.
