Anoka County just snagged a spot on Forbes' list of America's Best Midsize Employers for 2025, as celebrated by the Anoka County Board of Commissioners. Forbes, in their 10th year of ranking companies, teams up with market research company Statista to conduct extensive employee surveys. Companies boasting a workforce between 1,000 to 5,000 are considered midsize, while employers with over 5,000 staff members make the large cut, as per Anoka County.
"The inclusion of Anoka County on this list is a testament to the employees who show up day in and day out to serve their community," Mike Gamache, Chair, Anoka County Board of Commissioners, told Anoka County's official website. In the extensive survey, employees provide anonymous feedback on several facets of job satisfaction, including salary, workplace vibes, training, and career progression. Anoka's inclusion is especially notable, as it represents the sole government services employer from Minnesota to make the list.
Companies are not charged to participate in the survey or to be selected by Forbes. Forbes does not accept submissions for inclusion on these lists, which are published annually, Anoka County stated.
