In a straightforward assertion of justice, the Tarrant County District Attorney's Office has publicly commended the Arlington Police Department for their diligent work on a case that has culminated in a life sentence for Jesus Terrazas, 59, found guilty of continuously sexually abusing a child.
According to a recent social media post by the Tarrant County District Attorney's Office, the conviction stems from a series of assaults reported by an 8-year-old girl in 2020, during her visits to family in Arlington.
The legal team—Assistant District Attorneys Sydney Brock and Megan Bradshaw, Investigator Tiffany Johnson, and Victim Coordinator Angela Stevens—worked together to ensure the young girl’s cries for help were heard. Thanks to their efforts, the perpetrator was held accountable, showing how the justice system can protect the innocent when everyone works in sync.
