Midland Police are aggressively investigating a brazen armed robbery at a financial services business, Check Into Cash, which took place over the weekend. As reported by MLive, the incident occurred shortly after 4 p.m. last Saturday, at the establishment located at 305 S. Saginaw Road.

Authorities were alerted to the crime by a holdup alarm and a subsequent 911 call made by an employee detailing that two armed men had entered the store. To secure an undisclosed amount of money, the criminals—both masked—utilized firearms to intimidate the store employee. According to information provided by abc12, after obtaining the cash, the suspects are believed to have fled the area in a nearby vehicle.

The employee, who was not harmed during the frightening ordeal, complied with the robbers' demands, avoiding any escalation of violence. WNEM provided descriptions of the suspects, noting one as having a heavier build, dressed in all black with his hood up and a partial face covering, while the other, sporting a skinnier build, was attired in navy clothing with hood up and a partial face covering.

Despite a quick response from Midland Police Department and help from other agencies, the suspects have not been found. Investigators are still working to learn more and find those responsible. Anyone with information is asked to call the Midland Police Department at 989-839-4713, as per WNEM.
