The unveiling of the Colony Park Pool will showcase a facility designed to cater to all ages and abilities. Amenities such as a lap lane pool for the serious swimmers, a zero-entry activity pool for the toddlers, and additional attractions like a water slide and spray features are to provide endless entertainment. In a statement, the Austin Parks and Recreation shared that "the new pool is a community pool envisioned in the Aquatic and Colony Park planning documents." This new hub for aquatic leisure and learning is to also offer swimming classes for various age groups and skill levels as part of its program roster.
