The Charlotte County Commission has announced a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Fire Station 9 and the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office District 5, scheduled for 10 a.m., next Tuesday at the eco-friendly development. The event is open to all who wish to attend, as reported by the Charlotte County website.
Integrating seamlessly into the community's fabric, these new facilities aim to enhance the safety and responsiveness of the area's public services. Alongside the promise of increased efficiency, the county is ensuring the public has every opportunity to engage with this milestone. Attendees are encouraged to participate in the inaugural moment, event seating will be conveniently located next to the District 5 facility with ample parking available in the designated lots for both Station 9 and District 5.
For those planning to attend, directions are straightforward. Starting on Interstate 75 south, take Exit 143 onto Bayshore Road and continue eastwards for approximately 4 miles to the red light. A left turn onto State Road 31 leads directly to Babcock Ranch Road, followed by a right turn at the Cypress Parkway traffic signal. From there, the traffic circle’s first exit onto Curry Preserve Drive leads directly to the facilities.
