A Baltimore man has been apprehended by Anne Arundel County police following the discovery of his wife's body in Brooklyn Park, with the arrest casting a somber shadow over the community. The body of Sarah Bundy, 44, was found yesterday morning, exhibiting signs of violent trauma, and her husband, 49-year-old Cedric Dion Calloway, is now facing murder charges.
Officers were called to the scene on Disney Road and Alley 79 early yesterday morning, according to a report by FOX Baltimore. The victim was identified as a Curtis Bay resident, and following the autopsy performed by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore, detectives zeroed in on Bundy's husband as the prime suspect. An arrest warrant was promptly obtained for Calloway on the same day, thus beginning a legal process bound by deep pain and grief.
The inquiry into Bundy's death continues unabated, with authorities still piecing together the sequence of events that led to her untimely demise. The Anne Arundel County Police Department has made a point to encourage the public to step forward with any relevant information that might aid their ongoing investigation.
While details around the case are still unravelling, the police have stressed the active nature of the investigation. "Although an arrest was made," according to WBAL, detectives continue to urge anyone with information to contact the department, offering anonymity through the Metro Crime Stoppers service to those who require it.
