
Today, a 16-year-old male was reported to have been shot in Baltimore's Southwest District. According to a media advisory from the Baltimore Police Department, the incident occurred at approximately 12:44 a.m. on the 1600 block of Wilkens Avenue. The teen later presented himself at a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound that was deemed non-life-threatening by medical staff.
The Southwest District detectives have begun to canvas the scene and actively gather information. Individuals with knowledge of the incident are being asked to step forward and assist in piecing together the events that led to the shooting.
