A months-long drug investigation in Beaver County culminated this week with the arrest of a 55-year-old man and the seizure of a significant stash of narcotics. Cedric Fitzgerald Turner was apprehended by authorities following surveillance at his Darlington Borough home, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.
Reports from WPXI disclose that Turner came under suspicion for his presumed role in narcotics distribution, commencing in November 2024, leading to the eventual search and his arrest. A multi-agency task force was involved in the operation that led to the discovery of two kilograms of cocaine, one kilogram of fentanyl, and five pounds of marijuana, as well as more than $13,000 in cash and a revolver in Turner's home following his arrest.
The Beaver County drug task force conducted the search warrant, confirming that the arrest occurred during a traffic stop when Turner was leaving his residence. A subsequent search of the house revealed a variety of drugs and an illegally possessed firearm.
Mr. Turner, whose past includes a conviction for second-degree murder and robbery, faces several drug charges. According to WTAE, he "was not legally allowed to own a firearm." He is currently being held at the Beaver County Jail on a $25,000 bond, pending the federal adoption and prosecution of his case.
