The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is reaching out to the community for assistance in pinning down a suspect thought to be responsible for multiple residential break-ins. As reported by FOX San Antonio, the thefts occurred in West Bexar County last Thursday, impacting eleven newly constructed homes. The perpetrator left with several electrical breaker boxes, and significantly damaged the panels during the process.

Caught partly on a doorbell camera, footage depicts a white male, gloved and laden with a red 5-gallon bucket of electrical breakers. He was seen placing his hand to shield his identity from the lens intentionally. The homes, located near Chaparral Run and Jetty Mills, became unwitting scenes of the crimes.

In a bid to locate the suspect who concealed his face, the Sheriff's Office disclosed the getaway vehicle associated with the suspect — an older-model white Ford F-150, marked by a damaged tailgate top and a truck bed rack. Regrettably, despite the availability of footage, the truck's license plate eluded clear identification, according to KENS 5.

Authorities are calling upon anyone with valuable information regarding the identity of the suspect or details about the burglaries to step forward. The Bexar County Sheriff's Office has opened up lines of communication, urging potential witnesses to get in touch at 210-335-6000 or through email at [email protected].
