As reported by the Boulder Police Department, Roberta was last seen on May 28 at around 5:30 pm. The concerned authorities have highlighted the urgency of the search, given Roberta's advanced age, her recent arrival in Colorado to join family, and a mental impairment that raises significant concerns for her well-being.
Reinforcing the crucial nature of the situation, Roberta also lacks knowledge of the local area, which she only navigated for the first time on May 27. This fact, combined with the current inclement weather conditions, presents additional reasons the Boulder Police Department is pushing for a rapid community response. They note Roberta's distinct features, including her short grey hair and the salmon-colored raincoat she wore when last seen. Most notably, Roberta was riding a blue liberty tricycle, an electric-assisted vehicle with a basket, as she ventured westward along the paved path of Foothills Community Park and headed north.
