The Havenwoods neighborhood will host its annual Bloom & Groom flower sale on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Redemption Lutheran Church, located at 5641 N. 68th St.
According to a City of Milwaukee release, the event is organized by the City of Milwaukee, the Havenwoods Neighborhood Partnership, and the Neighborhood Improvement Development Corporation. It is free and open to the public. However, plant purchases are cash only.
Common Council members Mark Chambers, Jr., Andrea M. Pratt, and Larresa Taylor are encouraging residents to attend. The sale offers a variety of flowers for gardening and home decoration. It aims to support community engagement and neighborhood beautification.
