A Brunswick man, identified as Brandon Betts, age 32, has been arrested after allegedly discharging a shotgun toward four individuals, including a woman and two children, near Mulligan's Bar and the Royal Inn Hotel, Glynn County police officials confirm. The incident, which occurred at approximately 9:43 P.M. on Friday, resulted in one woman suffering a gunshot wound to her hip area, as reported by Action News Jax.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers found the injured woman, and emergency services promptly transported her to a local hospital. From there, she was airlifted to UF Shands Hospital in Jacksonville, where she currently remains stable, though at the time police had not disclosed her condition, all this according to First Coast News.
