On Thursday, the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, along with the Nevada Department of Investigations and the Eastern Nevada Narcotics Task Force, conducted coordinated raids at four residences in the City of Caliente. Four individuals were arrested on warrants related to the sale of controlled substances, and one additional person was arrested for possession, as reported by the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office.
The operation resulted in the arrest of several suspects and the seizure of suspected methamphetamine, three firearms, and various drug-related items. A statement from the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office said the arrests followed months of joint investigative work. Sheriff Foremaster said, "Anyone involved in the sale, transportation, or distribution of illegal narcotics in our county, know that we will find you, and you will be held accountable under Nevada Law."
According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office on their Facebook page, additional charges and arrests are possible in an ongoing investigation. In the meantime, support is being offered to individuals with substance use issues through the Lincoln County Coalition. Evidence collected during recent seizures is being processed for pending court cases.
