The long-anticipated Bluffs Community Center in Chanhassen is officially moving forward. Following voter approval in November, the City Council has selected a design team and approved a site in the Avienda neighborhood, according to the post from the City of Chanhassen, Minnesota Government.
Construction is scheduled to begin in spring 2026. As part of early planning, city officials toured nearby community centers to inform the design process and ensure the new facility meets local needs without duplicating existing efforts. To keep residents informed, the city has launched a dedicated online update channel. Community members are encouraged to subscribe via the City of Chanhassen’s post. While specific features of the center have yet to be announced, the facility is expected to offer recreational, educational, and event spaces. City leaders emphasized their commitment to transparency and aligning the project with long-term community priorities.
Updates will continue as the project develops.
