Charlotte County has postponed a key step in the approval process for the Harbor Village development project. The public adoption hearing, originally scheduled for an earlier date, will now take place during the County Commission Regular & Land Use meeting on July 22. The project is filed under case numbers TCP-24-03, PAL-24-04, and PD-24-14, according to an official announcement on the Charlotte County’s website.
To inform the public, the county will post a notice on the Harbor Village property at least 15 days before the hearing.
Postcards with the new hearing date will be mailed to property owners and residents within a 1,000-foot radius of the site. These mailings are expected to go out at least 30 days prior to the meeting.
