The Citrus Heights Police Department has reported that 19-year-old Jaiden Thomas was arrested on charges related to human trafficking, including trafficking a minor and pimping. He is being held on $1 million bail, as reported by the Citrus Heights Police Department.
The arrest followed the efforts of Citrus Heights Police Department patrol officers and detectives, local school staff, Sacramento County Probation, and the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office. Three victims have been identified so far. One victim's identity is still unknown. The Citrus Heights Police Department stated that there may be more victims who have not yet been found.
According to the Citrus Heights Police Department on their Facebook page, they are asking the public to share any information that may help identify more victims related to ongoing criminal investigations. They provided an anonymous tip line at 916-727-5524. "Our department remains committed to fighting human trafficking and standing up for the vulnerable in our community," the department stated.
