Clawson police are on the search for a third person of interest in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred last Thursday night. The incident, which happened around 10:30 p.m. at a residence near 14 Mile Road and Renshaw Avenue, left an unidentified man with a fatal gunshot wound. Responding officers discovered the victim, who was later pronounced dead at an area hospital, according to a report by CBS News Detroit.
Two individuals have been detained in relation to the crime, however, authorities are actively looking for 21-year-old Tylaj Arean Clark-Spencer, described as standing 6 feet 5 inches tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds. The Detroit News notes that a manhunt began following the shooting and despite concluding an operation on Butternut Avenue, Clark-Spencer remains at large.
As investigators continue their search, the police department has voiced assurances to the public that there is no immediate threat to community safety. The Royal Oak Police Department, which assisted in the response to the incident, has since returned to normal patrol operations, Detroit News reported. Furthermore, the police have issued a call for anyone with information on Clark-Spencer's whereabouts to come forward.
