Cleveland State University (CSU) is currently in celebration mode, honoring its graduating students who've made their mark through perseverance, achievement, and embodying the university's principles. The spotlight today is on William Sola, class of '25, a student whose journey exemplifies commitment and who is setting down some serious roots in the world of sports internships, as seen on CSU's website.
When asked about his experiential learning opportunities during his time at CSU, Sola reflected on his lucky streak via the CSU website, "I have been so lucky to have received two significant internships while being a student at CSU." In a pioneering partnership with the Cleveland Guardians, he became the inaugural recipient of an internship designed for CSU students. In Sola's own words, being part of the Guardians' team and contributing to their success last season was truly incredible.
But Sola didn't just stop there. He's currently employed by FIFA in Miami, Florida, as a FIFA World Cup 2026 Future Leaders Intern. Handling responsibilities in the Uniforms department, he aids in the orchestration of one of the world's most anticipated sporting events. Balance is key for Sola, who's also juggling online classes to maintain his academic commitments while contributing to this historic event.
