These events, slated to run from June 12 through August 16 at six picturesque waterfront locations, promise a blend of atmospheric euphony and the region's culinary delights.
The series will sashay into the summer calendar with weekly Thursday evening happy hour concerts, as reported by Cleveland19. The performances will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., although the kick-off starts one hour earlier at 4 p.m. Guests are invited to enjoy a medley of local music and indulgences at various scenic spots, including Edgewater Beach, Euclid Beach, and Wallace Lake. Adding to the vibe, food lovers and concertgoers alike can look forward to a range of edible options and beers to purchase.
"We're excited to welcome the return of our popular Summer Concert Series," Brian M. Zimmerman, Cleveland Metroparks CEO, articulated in a statement obtained by WKYC. The assertion cements the Series as not merely an auditory excursion but a multifaceted experience to "experience the beauty of our waterfront locations while enjoying great local music, food, and our community." Concert timings differ slightly by day, with non-Thursday shows running strictly from 5 to 8 p.m.
Further enriching the annual tradition, this year introduces enhancements at Wallace Lake, including the new Wallace Lake Grille, which is poised to elevate the lakeside allure, audiences can expect a diverse roster of musical performances every week with special happy hour perks courtesy of Leinenkugel’s, including a beer garden and a spread of food options across several venues Zimmerman told Cleveland Metroparks News. The Series extends beyond the perennial fan favorite Thursday shows, offering additional live music across the week, with Wednesday tunes at Huntington Beach, Friday notes at Emerald Necklace Marina, and the rhythmic bliss of Saturday evenings at Merwin's Wharf, all performances are scheduled for a 5 – 8 p.m. time span, ensuring evenings filled with rhythm and community spirit.
