The Columbus Division of Police has turned to the public for assistance following a fatal shooting earlier this week.

In an appeal shared via social media, according to the Columbus Division of Police, authorities provided details of the incident that occurred late Sunday night. Around 11:45 p.m., in the area of the 1600 block of E. Livingston Ave., Columbus officers responded to a report of a shooting. They arrived to find 47-year-old Jehad Alzaben with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Alzaben was pronounced dead at 12:30 a.m.

The police have released images of individuals they are looking to identify in connection with the homicide and have requested any video evidence from the vicinity highlighted in an accompanying map. Submissions can be made through a QR code provided in the original post.
