The Cuyahoga County Office of Child Support Services is stepping up its game in the digital realm, recently unveiling some nifty online features designed to simplify life for parents navigating the child support system. As reported by Cuyahoga County's news release yesterday, the agency is now offering virtual services, including a live chat and electronic document management, tactics aimed squarely at helping parents and propelling resources to children in a more streamlined fashion.
"By implementing DocuSign and chat support through our website, the Office of Child Support Services is increasing the ways in which people can access the resources they need," said Tiffany Dobbins-Brazelton, Director of the Cuyahoga County Office of Child Support Services, in a statement obtained by Cuyahoga County's news release. The new DocuSign feature will alleviate much of the hassle formerly associated with paperwork. Now, parents can sign documents like the Application for Child Support Services and Hearing Waivers right from wherever they are; the need to stand in queues vanishes like a ghost in the daylight.
The live chat service, accessible from the Office of Child Support Services website, is set to tackle basic queries about child support services. This could range from establishing support orders to making payments. The charm of this system is anonymity. One can get help without sharing one's story with another human being. Chat agents will be on standby Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., ready to tap away replies to the community's questions.
For those dealing with more complicated, case-specific issues, the agency has still got your back, just in a slightly old-school manner. Individuals are encouraged to call the Contact Center using the readily available number (216) 443-5100.
