
Tragedy unfolded in Dallas on Monday night when police responded to a distressing incident in the 3100 block of June Drive. According to the Dallas Police Department, the preliminary investigation revealed a fatal shooting that claimed the life of 20-year-old Esau Iglesias and left another victim wounded. With a swift response, Dallas Fire-Rescue pronounced Iglesias dead at the scene and rushed the other victim to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The aftermath of the gunfire had communities reeling, and the Dallas Police Department acted quickly to bring the suspected perpetrator into custody. They have identified 20-year-old Thomas McLellan as the alleged shooter. McLellan was subsequently arrested and is now facing charges of Murder and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon in the Dallas County Jail.
