Summer's just around the corner, and with it comes the opportunity for kids and adults alike in Hurst-Euless-Bedford to dive into books with the HEB Reads! Summer Reading Challenge. According to the City of Euless, registered participants can begin logging their reading minutes to earn various prizes; rewards await readers as soon as they sign up, with more extravagant prizes for those who hit milestones ranging from 250 to a staggering 7,500 minutes of reading.
For the tech-savvy bibliophiles, tracking those minutes has been made easy with the Beanstack Tracker app. Which is free on both the Apple App Store and Google Play, after users create their accounts, they can start keeping tabs on their progress both on Beanstack's website and through the app making the challenge accessible whether you're lounging at home or on the go, and as mentioned on the City of Euless' official site, any reading logged, no matter the amount, secures an invite to an End of Summer Bash at the Euless Aquatics Center on August 1.
All the rewards up for grabs are tailored to children, but don't let that discourage you if you aren't one. The HEB Reads! initiative is open to anyone with a passion for reading, which was made clear in the official announcement, where it states, anyone who loves to read is eligible to participate. With this inclusive approach, HEB is nurturing a broader community of readers.
Participants can collect their prizes at the Mary Lib Saleh Library, and for more details on the challenge, they can visit HEBreads.org or call 817-685-1480, according to the official information provided, eager readers are poised to fill their summer days with the kind of literary journeys that both entertain and educate, shaping minds young and old one page at a time.
