As the nation's capital gears up to celebrate the richness of Asian culture at the 2025 National Asian Heritage Festival tomorrow, city-goers should be ready to adjust their routes. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has released a traffic advisory to inform the public of extensive parking restrictions and street closures throughout downtown D.C. tomorrow.

Starting from 1:00 am until 10:00 pm on the day of the festival, parking will be prohibited on several streets, including stretches of 4th and 6th Streets, as well as portions of Constitution and Pennsylvania Avenues, NW. Festival attendees and residents alike will need to quickly adjust plans, as these emergency measures are designed to facilitate crowd control and ensure safety for all those participating in the festivities.

Vehicular traffic will also be impacted with road closures set effectively from 2:00 am to 10:00 pm on the day of the event. Key arteries such as 4th Street between Pennsylvania Avenue and Madison Drive, NW, and Constitution Avenue as well as Pennsylvania Avenue between 7th Street and 3rd Street, NW, will be off-limits to drivers. The MPD has also indicated a potential, conditional closure of 6th Street between C Street and Constitution Avenue, NW.

Attendees are encouraged to plan their visit thoughtfully, keeping in mind the traffic advisories, and are reminded to check the MPD's official release for the most up-to-date information on road closures and parking restrictions.
