The 27-year-old male pedestrian was transported to a nearby hospital and is in critical but stable condition after losing his left leg below the knee.

During the investigation, two individuals—Julian Jackson, 29, and Rashon Goode, 28—were arrested for interfering with law enforcement. Jackson reportedly approached the officers, struck both Meadows and an officer, and resisted arrest. Goode allegedly tried to pull an officer away during Jackson’s arrest and also resisted. Jackson is charged with Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer, Resisting Arrest with Violence, and Battery. Goode is charged with Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer and Resisting Arrest with Violence.

All three individuals were booked into the Orient Road Jail. The investigation remains ongoing.
